What Would Vinnie Use
There’s a saying that’s used by people who work in practical or mechanical type jobs - whether we’re talking about car mechanics, plumbers, construction workers, etc. “The right tool for the right job.” That notion can be applied to recreation and sporting activities as well. The equipment that we use can be just as important as how we use it.
I don’t claim to be the world’s number one expert on cycling equipment. I also don’t work for, or represent, any manufacturer or distributor. I only know what I like, and as I do a LOT of cycling, I’ve tested out pretty much everything out there. I’ve gotten to be fairly well known among the regular clientele of the bike shop near where I live, as I’ve spent so much time in there. It’s become a joke among the staff that a lot of their regular customers now come in when they’re looking for something, and ask “what would Vinnie use?” Again – not because I’m the best cyclist around, but because they know I spend more time on the bike than just about anybody, and that I’m very particular about what products I’ll use.
I’d like to use this space to give you all the same opportunity that the customers of that bike shop have. These are the products that I personally recommend. Check them out, and if they’re right for you, let me know! If they’re not, I want to hear about that as well.
