Michael Tortorich
- Article Written by Michael Tortorich
Michael Tortorich is a journalist and
freelance writer and photographer based
in Baton Rouge , Louisiana . He has a
degree in journalism from Louisiana
State University .
As this is my first article for the
site, I wanted to start by briefly
introducing myself.
I also wanted to set a few goals for
myself.
In case you were wondering, yes, Vinnie
and I are related. He's my uncle, and a
pretty cool one at that.
He's always been a very focused,
determined person in everything that he
does. His sense of dedication and pride
has been just a few of the many
qualities of his that I've admired ever
since I can remember.
When he approached me about contributing
to this site, I did not hesitate in
saying yes. I was humbled and honored to
even be considered.
I know that when Vinnie decides to put
his mind to something, he will see it
through no matter what happens. Quitting
is not an option, and neither is
failure.
The idea to launch an endeavor like this
should have seemed obvious, but maybe
there was "never enough time." After
all, these things take a lot of hard
work.
Funny enough, but isn't that what we all
fall back on when it comes to our own
fitness? There's "never enough time,"
and it's just too hard.
I'm sure I've said those words myself a
few times too many.
These words are easy to say. It's much
more difficult to stop thinking, and
start doing.
As many trainers will tell you, you
can't afford not to make the time. It's
literally life and death.
There's no free lunch, as we've all
heard. And there certainly is no such
thing when it comes to staying fit and
healthy. We all know that our ways will
eventually tell on us, and by the time
that happens it may be too late to turn
things around.
Vinnie's message has been consistent. He
knows what it takes to get results. I've
seen him bring successful results to
countless people, time and time again.
What I hope everyone who visits this
site understands is that this nothing
new to Vinnie. This is not some gimmick
to him. This is his life. This is what
he does best.
I will try my best to provide
interesting and useful information to
visitors of this site.
I am confident that the resources found
here will prove to be invaluable.
I look forward to contributing early and
often, so be sure to check back with us. |
